When you arrive at Pelagos Studios the first thing you do is stare in awe at the grounds overflowing with flowers and awash in the blue and white Cycladic architecture and natural rock.It creates an atmosphere that would be beautiful in it's visual splendor as well as providing all the comforts for it's guests, with the meticulous quality standards of cleanliness, customer satisfaction and service. Pelagos offer's it's guests an Outside Stone Barbeque as well as a beautiful, natural rock, Outside Sitting Area, covered with Bamboo for a morning, afternoon or evening get-togethers.As an added convenience for the guests Fax Services, Island Information and friendly advice are always available at the Reception. He only spends six months of the year in Paros but if you want a taste of real Greek life Pelagos is the place to stay.… He really likes to look after his guests. Bill also provided us with breakfast the next morning. It was the most authentic Greek experience we had during our entire stay. Seemingly some nights there is dancing until the early hours. Unfortunately for us on that night everybody else only spoke Greek so we weren't able to join in too much but I can imagine how there would be lots of fun if there were some other English speaking guests. This entailed a feast of meat again for free. As a result when we did eventually make it to Bill's place he provided us both with free dinner and wine! That same night he hosted a Greek barbecue for some of his friends and the other guests. We didn't get to check our email and didn't realise he would collect you from the port. Bill is a lovely man who goes out of his way to make you feel at home. However what really helps this place stand out is Bill the owner. A mass of flowers around the building add to the charm. The rooms themselves are lovely and the building is gorgeous with a modern take on old Greek design. Pelagos studios are a lovely apartment complex on the outskirts of Paros town. Our very best wishes to you, John, Helen and Vicky for the rest of the season.… Staying here beats hands down a stay at a hotel. Thanks Peter for looking after us during our two week stay - we feel we arrived as travellers and leave Pelagos Studios richer for having had the opportunity to meet the extended family. Try the produce at the yoghurt shop on the main road and check out the nearest grill place for great gyros. Wifi (can be) a bit patchy but you're on holidays - unplug! The location is no more than a 10 minute easy walk to the sea front - car / bike hire easily arranged by Peter. Always with a smile - and what a smile! There's a great bakery very close by (also ATMs), mini market for essentials on the corner or larger supermarket a further few minutes walk away from the location (if you wish to self-cater). Peter is a charming, cheerful, personable host always willing to assist to ensure your holiday is hassle free and happy. Lingering breakfasts on the terrace in the morning sunshine over a coffee to breezy evening sundowners engaging with other house guests is a convivial way to close out the day before wandering off for a meal. This family run business is friendly and welcoming the studios are quite spacious and spotlessly clean (daily servicing and turnover of bed linen every 2/3 days - thank you Ada), the building is very well maintained (freshly painted and shared shady terrace areas immaculate) and the vibe is relaxed. If you rate an island holiday with criteria that may include the following: friendliness of owners/staff cleanliness of establishment and the overall "vibe" - this is your place.
